2010 in review and outlook for 2011

Posted by Keith on Monday, December 20th, 2010

So we’ve come to the end of 2010, an ‘eventful’ year both for the country, and for me personally and professionally.

It was a pleasure for Keith Malone Wedding Films to film some really lovely weddings this year, including a few friend’s weddings.  It was the year of four seasons, as we had heat-waves, wind, rain, frost, ice and of course more recently snow! I’m already looking forward to next season and from looking at the diary, it’s going to be another busy year. I’ll be closing my books quite soon for 2011 because I strictly limit the number of wedding bookings to ensure that the quality level of my work remains consistently high. See the rest …

Busy Summer for Wedding Videos, Social Media Wedding Directory

Posted by Keith on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Sorry for the lack of blog posts over the last few months. It is a crazy busy time with shooting and editing weddings. I’m working very hard to keep my editing backlog under control and thankfully, I’m still meeting my 12 week delivery date target. I hope to be uploading more sample wedding video clips over the coming weeks.

If you are a bride planning a wedding, you really should check out www.mrs2be.ie as it is packed with planning tips and advice and a busy yet friendly online Irish wedding community.

In other news, for anyone working in the Irish wedding industry, you may be interested to hear about my new online wedding marketing blog. Over time, it will contain useful information about getting the most from social media and search engine marketing. It is specifically targeted towards Irish wedding suppliers. Visit the site here: http://keithmalone.com

For wedding suppliers and businesses including hotels and wedding venues based in Ireland, you should add your Twitter and Facebook pages to mrs2be’s Social Media Directory for FREE of charge. They are accepting listings from Irish wedding suppliers whether or not they are existing advertisers with the site. A great initiative, even if I may say so myself! ;)

Barberstown Castle Wedding Video – Marie-Louise & John

Marie-Louise was in my class in Primary School a couple of decades ago! So I was delighted when we randomly crossed paths again where I would end up filming her wedding day. Both Marie-Louise and John were a pleasure to work with; they let me keep my head down and film their day in my normal discreet way. I loved their choice of music for the DVDs, the old timeless classics are defintely the best. Especially this Tony Bennett number which they chose to accompany their wedding highlights clip. Enjoy!
