Nobody wants a dvdzilla… 

“Nobody wants a dvdzilla on the day!” What a great quote! I wish it was mine but it isn’t. A bride on weddingsonline.ie came up with this on a recent posting. She was referring to the notion that some people have of a wedding videographer being in everybody’s face throughout the day.

Couples can be rest assured that 90% of wedding videographers are actually fairly discreet and unobtrusive. I’ve guestimated this figure based on reading reports from genuine brides on WeddingsOnline.ie about a reasonably large number of different videographers. The majority of brides comment that they didn’t even notice the videographer at all. I’m not just referring to myself here, I’m referring to the vast majority of videographers in Ireland.

I personally have been described by a bride as being “almost invisible” on the day. To me, this is just as important as being able to deliver a high-quality wedding DVD that captures the magic of the day.
