We filmed a lovely wedding today in Trinity College Dublin & Barberstown Castle in Co. Kildare. Everything was perfect, the sunshine, the ceremony, the music, the craic and the food. We even got a little mention from the priest, Fr. Paddy Rushe. It’s always nice when our discretion during the ceremony mass is recognised & appreciated by the celebrant. Fr. Rushe is a friendly welcoming priest who always has something interesting to say! Here’s how it went down:
Well, not long after receiving their completed Wedding DVDs, Maria and Shane sent me this email:
Hi Keith,
We just watched our wedding DVD and wanted to thank you for a capturing the day so well. It was really special to relive the day and to always have it to refresh the memories in the coming years. There was so much that we forgot about or didnt even know about and we saw them tonight, some for the first time…..we’re amazed that you captured so much without being obtrusive on the day. We don’t know how many times we said to each other “I didn’t even know Keith was there” as we watched various parts of the DVD!
The footage was put together very well with the music and the packaging was nicely personalized. It’s a really top quality job and we can’t thank you enough for helping us capture our day forever.
We will be passing your name on to friends/family who may be getting married in the coming years. In the meantime, we hope you are keeping well and keeping busy!
Can’t believe it’s been a whole month since my last blog entry! Things have been hectic with filming and editing weddings. (Thankfully given the current state of our economy!)
I had to log on to mention this lovely postcard that I just received in the post. It’s from Aileen and Tom whose wedding I filmed towards the end of last year. They were a great couple to work with because everything on the day was just so chilled and relaxed and there was a great ‘party’ atmosphere at the evening reception in the Grand Hotel, Malahide. Anyway, thanks Aileen and Tom for your very kind gesture and I wish you all the best for the future!
Debbie and Fergal had their reception at one of my favourite venues – Killashee House Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare. What an amazing wedding day; the buzz and excitement was infectous. It was hard not to notice that they both really enjoyed the day and it naturally shows on their DVD!
What a lovely couple too, an absolute pleasure to work with. Debbie sent a lovely email to me afterwards letting me know how much they enjoyed the DVD. Anyway, here is their highlights clip – enjoy!
I often receive thank you emails from couples and this is latest email hot off the press. It’s from Sarah-Jane and Gary whose wedding I had the pleasure to film recently. They were a joy to work with and I wish them all the best for the future.
Hi Keith,
I can’t thank you enough for the amazing job you did on our wedding DVDs. They are absolutely flawless. You have a real talent for capturing the essence of the day, and I know this sounds cliché but we hardly noticed you were there all day.
It was so worth getting you to stay late, the later scenes are priceless. I know we’ll enjoy this DVD many, many times and as we get older it will just get better. Everyone is so impressed and it’s great to show to people who couldn’t make it on the day.
I will be recommending you to anyone I know getting married in the future. Thanks a million for everything and for being such a lovely person to deal with
Best wishes,
Sarah-Jane & Gary O’Malley
Here is a clip from their DVD, it is the highlights summary which gives a lovely recap of the full day. Enjoy
